The Kpone Landfill Waste Pickers Association has rejected claims made in a JoyNews report alleging that its members collect and sell expired products retrieved from the Kpone landfill. In a press release signed by the Association's Chairman, Mr. Divine Dekonor, the group said the report, produced by JoyNews reporter Carlos Carlony, contained inaccuracies that have further stigmatized landfill waste pickers and could incite public hostility against them.
