Chairman Wontumi Sentenced to 20 Years in Illegal Mining Case

The High Court in Accra has sentenced Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, to 20 years’ imprisonment on each of two counts after finding him guilty in the Akonta Mining illegal mining case.
