Ghana’s stronger currency may have reduced the full value of mineral royalty earnings in 2025, but the country still posted its highest-ever inflows from the mining sector. According to the Minerals Income Investment Fund, mineral royalty inflows reached GH₵5.43 billion in 2025, up from GH₵4.91 billion in 2024.
